Overview
Start the morning as you head towards Lempuyang Temple, a famous "Gate of Heaven". Locally referred to as Pura Lempuyang Luhur, is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with the Besakih Mother Temple. It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a must-do on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level and is one of the most famous destinations in east Bali that offers amazing photo opportunities.
Continue with a visit to Tirta Gangga tourist park. It is a garden heritage of the Karangasem Kingdom, built by the King in 1946. Follow on with a visit to the Tukad Cepung Waterfall, one of the most photogenic of all the waterfalls in Bali, and is a popular and relatively new tourist destination in the Bangli area. The waterfall can be seen between the rock formations and if you are lucky enough, the sun rays will create an amazing show light show just for you.
If you select the option "Tour with lunch" lunch will be included in a local restaurant.
