Your visit will start at the Citadel Situated at a height of 100 meters atop the hill of Petite Montagne.

Most authentic are the fruit and vegetable sections (including Chinese herbal medicines and aphrodisiacs).
Try our topmost favourite street food, the Dholl Puri. A Dholl Puri or ”Dhal Puri” is commonly a flatbread stuffed with split yellow peas/Dholl and best served with butter beans curry along with a nice Mauritian ”Rougaille” and chilli.
