Embark on a 30-minute boat ride from Zanzibar, and get ready for an experience unlike no other. Upon arrival to the former slave island, you will be greeted by glistening turquoise waters and white sands. Immerse yourself in history as you stroll through the prison complex which was built in 1893 initially to be used as a prison, but due to the yellow fever epidemic, it was converted into a quarantine island.

Make friends with giant tortoises as you visit Turtle Sanctuary, an experience you will unlikely forget. You will learn about these loveable reptiles as well as have the opportunity to feed them their favourite snack!

Don’t forget your swimsuit! Located in the Indian Ocean, Changuu Island boasts pristine waters teeming with colourful marine life. Grab your snorkel and explore the magical underwater world.
