Visiting Pompeii is a unique and humbling experience. The ancient Roman town and its inhabitants were buried by a blanket of ash and pumice from the devastating eruption of the Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. But with thanks to successful archaeological works, today you can admire some of the city´s most important buildings such as the Stabian Baths, the Forum, the theatre areas, the House of the Faun, the House of the Tragic Poet and the brothel. The standard walk in the archaeological excavations takes about 2 hours.

After the free time, you will take a minibus to the Capri main square: it is called "Piazzetta, the little theater of the world", where a few meters away from each other sit princesses of the Northern Kingdoms, Italian actors, American billionaires and common people.

You will walk through the streets of the island full of unique Italian fashion shops.

You can enjoy then the natural landscape and the wonderful blue sea views from the Belvedere of Augustus’ Gardens, which was Friedrich Krupp's residence in 1900, characterized by terraces embellished with flowers. This experience ends in the afternoon.

Spend a day in the Vesuvian Area visiting the amazing archaeological Site of Pompeii and the imposing Mt. Vesuvius. Pick-up and transfer by bus in the morning from a centrally located meeting point in Naples. You will do a two-hour stop in Pompeii to visit the Excavations Site. After the visit, free time for lunch. In the early afternoon, you will be transferred to Mt. Vesuvius. The bus will ride you up to 1000 meters high and from that point you will continue with a 30 minute walk. Once on the rim, you will meet an Alpine guide that will give you information about the history of the crater. You will then have free time to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples.
Return to Naples in the afternoon.
