Important information - Thailand Mourning Period

As you may already be aware, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, passed away on 24 October 2025. This is a heavy loss for Thailand, and the Royal Thai Government has announced official mourning practices and suggested mourning attire guideline during the mourning period which lasts for 90 days (until 24th January 2026.

Although this is not enforced for foreign visitors, this attire is highly recommended as part of the respect for the local customs and traditions. Details are: During the mourning period, foreign visitors are encouraged to wear black or subdued colors (dark grey, navy blue, brown and white) and avoid bright, flashy, or festive colors such as red, yellow, pink, or neon tones. Modest and respectful clothing should be worn when visiting temples, royal sites or government buildings. Visitors are also encouraged to wear a black ribbon, which can be easily found when in Thailand, as a respectful gesture during this special period.

Set sail on Catamaran to Coral Island and indulge in many of the activities it has on offer. Coral Island is a great place to enjoy water sports and there are many optional water sports activities like a Banana boat, clear bottom kayaks, underwater walking, scuba, etc. You get to spend time on Coral Island and enjoy the beach and water sports. Or you may just choose to relax on the beach and explore the Island on foot and enjoy chilling in many of the quaint bars on this beautiful little Island

As the day settles we prepare for our Catamaran Cruise around Coral Island, capturing beautiful views. Your dinner is served as you enjoy the mesmerizing sunset on board the Catamaran. The buffet is usually laid by 4pm and runs the course as we sail to sunset. This is a light dinner on board.

We will start with check in on arrival at Ao Chalong Pier where tea, coffee and biscuits will be available for all customers. Once everyone has checked in, we will depart from the pier and make our way to Coral Island by speed boat, where your beach chair awaits!

Relax and take in the views on the beachfront in front of Hey Island Restaurant or wander to Koh Hey area where you can go swimming or snorkelling. Watch the coral reefs from different beach shapes, which are home to many species of beautiful fish, and be amazed by the emerald alternating with bright blue layers.
