First visit is from 8am-8:59pm and the Second visit is from 9pm-1:15am.

This unique opportunity allows visitors an unforgettable experience to watch the sun rise over NYC from Empire State Building’s 86th floor Observatory. Feel the city come to life while surrounded by unobstructed, panoramic open-air views. (Guest must call 72 hours in advance to reconfirm details).

Multiple languages spoken depending on staffing levels, generally Spanish and Japanese available any time. Audio Guides are available for purchase in French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, and Spanish.

Last elevator goes up at 1:15am. Everyone must go through the security check when entering the building. No glass or bottles are permitted to be taken to the Observatory. Only carry-on size and style bags, suitcases, backpacks, duffle bags, luggage, etc., are permitted. There is no coat check, package, baggage check or holding area, so please do not attempt to bring non-carry-on style luggage to the Observatory. Includes admission to the Main Observation Deck on the 86th floor. Admission to Top Observation Deck on the 102nd floor is optional and fee is payable locally. This is subject to availability and fees are subject to change. The nearest subway station is 34th Street.
